A space for support, empowerment & education for the modern day parent.
LHOB offers prenatal & postnatal doula support & Lamaze childbirth education for pregnancy, labour & birth.
Hi, I’m Tina. I’m an Adelaide-born, Sydney- living doula, childbirth educator and burrito enthusiast. Little House of Birth was born (see what I did there?) from my yearning to create a community of supported, empowered and educated people in pregnancy, labour, birth and beyond. I believe every birthing person can benefit from continuity of care and the best education going into birth and parenting.
I offer doula services (birth support) as well as Lamaze childbirth education classes for pre and postpartum. Since completing my training in 2017, I have continued with my education and recently completed Penny Simkin’s and Phyllis Klaus’ course 'When Survivors Give Birth’. I believe we need to do more to support parents post-birth and I’m super passionate about postnatal support beyond the first few days with your baby.
Everyone’s needs are different and I am here to support you however that may look. It’s time to invest in yourself and prepare for the wild and wonderful ride that is birth.
Services
Pre-natal & Birth Doula Support
Emotional, physical and informative support during pregnancy, labour and birth. A doula supports your birth plans and educates you to advocate for your needs.
Postnatal doula support
In-home support in the early weeks and months. This covers a range of things depending on your needs including basic breastfeeding support, light house work and/or settling techniques.
childbirth education
Group or private evidence-based classes that help parents to feel confident, supported and powerful. Education is key to understanding your options in pregnancy, labour and birth.

“I know Tina was made to do this! Her love and passion are so very clear and I would not hesitate in recommending her to any expectant mums to be whether it’s their first pregnancy or third and whether they have a partner in the room with them or not.”

“Tina was brilliant, but more importantly the Lamaze principles and education about the birth process helped me so much. I decided I really wanted a natural birth with as little intervention as possible. I'm so glad I took a Lamaze class to mentally prepared myself for the intensity of labour and birth.”
